A Research Proposal

PROPOSED PROBLEM TITLE:

 Acronym Comprehension Test for UP Students

Proposed Statement of the Problem:   

This research will be conducted to find out if  a UP Cebu student (Academic Year 2011-2012) can/cannot remember meaning of the acronym that he/she had known when he/she was in his/her elementary/highschool.

Statement of the Problem:

1. How many acronyms in the Philippines can a student answer?

    a) ten common acronyms

    b) ten geographical acronyms

    c) ten institutional acronyms

2.  Are there tendencies that a student cannot remember the acronym that he/she had known when he/she was in elementary/highschool? Why?
